Things to note when operating Xinjiang diesel generators
The installation site must be well ventilated, there should be sufficient air inlets at the generator end, and good air outlets at the diesel engine end. The area of the air outlet should be at least three times larger than the area of the water tank.
The area around the installation site should be kept clean, and items that can generate corrosive gases and vapors such as acid and alkaline should be avoided nearby. Fire extinguishing devices should be equipped where possible.
When used indoors, the smoke exhaust pipe must be led to the outside. The diameter of the pipe must be the diameter of the smoke outlet pipe of the silencer. The number of elbows in the connected pipe should not exceed 10 to ensure smooth flow of smoke exhaust. The pipe has a downward slope to avoid rainwater intrusion. If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upward, a rainproof cover must be installed.
When the foundation is made of concrete, a level ruler must be used to measure its level during installation to ensure that the unit is fixed on a level foundation. There should be special anti-vibration pads or anchor bolts between the unit and the foundation.
The unit shell must have reliable protective grounding. For generators that require a neutral point to be directly grounded, the neutral grounding must be carried out by professionals and equipped with lightning protection devices. It is strictly prohibited to use the mains grounding device. The neutral point is directly connected to ground.
The two-way switch of the generator and the mains must be separated.
